Halloween Themed Cake 7 (Halloween Party)

So this is the final cake Halloween cake of the year and it's for a surprise birthday party.  After a lot of sketching he was happy with the skeleton head.

Cake flavor:

Chocolate Chip...Yellow or Chocolate Sponge cake filled with Vanilla or Chocolate Buttercream with Mini Chocolate Chips. Iced in Vanilla Buttercream.

Halloween Themed Cake 6 (Halloween Party)

The client wanted to a creepy cake for his Halloween party and why not create a creepy pumpkin, especially when your family runs a pumpkin patch.

Halloween Themed Cake 5 (Retirement Cake)

So Estelle's co-workers helped design her retirement cake. They said she always went all out decorating her office every holiday and seeing that she's Retiring this month, the month of Halloween why not give her a cake representing the holiday.

Halloween Themed Cake 4 (Birthday Cake)

What does a 15 year old born in the month of October wants, a Halloween themed cake. We went with a witch's pot because she'll be a witch this Halloween.

Strawberry Fields...Moist strawberry cake filled with strawberry cheesecake & strawberry puree.

Halloween Themed Cake 3 (Birthday Cake)

So Zion had a Halloween Costume Party for his 14th birthday, haunted house and all. He knows most people are really creeped out by spiders, so of course that's the direction he wanted to go with this cake.

Caramel Fudge...devils food chocolate cake filled with a blend of rich caramel and chocolate creams frosted with sweet vanilla buttercream.

Halloween Themed Cake 2 (Birthday Cake)

Abby who loves Halloween wanted this cake for her 22nd birthday and I was happy to oblige. All of the adornment are decorated sugar cookies.

Halloween Themed Cake 1 (Wedding Cake)

At this time of year I expect the Halloween design request. People who are heavy into this holiday really come up with unique ideas for their cakes and honestly even though Halloween isn't y favorite holiday it does allow me to be extra creative. This one happened to be a wedding cake.

Top tier:

Tuxedo...Layers of white & dark chocolate cakes filled with layers of white-chocolate truffle & rich fudge filling.

Middle tier:

Black and White...Dark chocolate cake filled with white chocolate mousse, accented with sliced strawberries and frosted with white chocolate buttercream.

Bottom tier:

White Almond Sour Cream...White almond sour cream cake filled with cheesecake & raspberry puree. Also great with chocolate-cheesecake filling!

Makeup Artist...Makeup Train Cake

I've been getting a lot of orders for the grander birthday cakes, not just your simple cake or one of the drip cakes. This 18th birthday cake was for Sophia who is an aspiring makeup artist. Me being a makeup enthusiast myself, creating this cake was a real treat.

Romantic Golden Birthday Cake

It's always interesting when someone comes to me to do a cake for someone else. That's what happened with this golden beauty. The client wanted to surprise his girlfriend with a cake, and when he sat down with me and I started asking questions I think he started to panic a bit.

He knew she loved flowers, white roses to be exact. He purchases her a bouquet every Sunday.

Then we got into her personality and thank God for social media and the fact that she has a presence on many social media platforms because I was able to see that she loved gold and she is a lingerie designer. I decided to go with a gold cake wrapped in lace and finished with a bit fully bloomed white rose.

Cake flavor is:

White Whisper cake...White chocolate cake with a french vanilla cream and fresh blueberry filling.

Hat Box Cake for Big Hat Themed Sweet 16 Birthday.

What we have her is a margarita cake (rich margarita cake filled with lime cheesecake), for Olivia's Sweet 16th Birthday. Since her party's them is "Big Hats" I went with hat boxes for her cake.

Lava Cake

I shall call this the Lava Cake for want of a better name. The inside is a mocha cake with a little surprise layer. On the outside is vanilla bean Swiss meringue buttercream. Topping it are red sugar shards.

Fire, lava... i think this cake design reflects the heavy workload i am encountering right now. It certainly sounds dramatic, right? Most creative professions are.

Now there's the little surprise in this Lava cake. A layer of vanilla cake tinted red sandwiched between two layers of mocha cake.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake

Peanut butter chocolate cake. Moist chocolate cake is layered and frosted with a rich peanut butter Swiss meringue buttercream. To make it even more decadent, it is topped with Ferrero Rocher, a dark chocolate ganache drip and peanut butter chocolate chip cookie crumbs.

I had such a craving for peanut butter and chocolate all week that i had to do something about it. So here's the result! 😄
